Hope Gala: Mad for a Cure raises over $1.2 million!!
On Saturday, November 3, 2012, the JDRF Hope Gala – Mad for a Cure transformed the National Building Museum into a Mad Men retro black and red 50s style event with entertainment by Le Ombre. The night was chaired by Sue DeVine and Brent Baglien with honorary chairs Senator Mark Warner and Kathleen Kennedy Townsend. Hope Champion Baker Tilly and Hope Honoree Sherry Cushman were honored for their continued commitment to JDRF. The spectacular evening raised over $1.2 million dollars. Hundreds of our Washingtonian supporters were in the room to help make this happen.
For those you, who were not able to join us for the Hope Gala but would still like to make a donation in support of the event. You can donate through our special Fund-A-Cure program. This donation is 100% tax deductable and 100% of the donation will go to research.
